Excellent Approach to Connect with Students

Lily is my daughter’s math tutor. She is in grade 7. We interviewed over six tutors; and my daughter has received over five sessions to date. Lily has done a great job at 1. Connecting with our daughter; 2. Explaining math concepts in practical ways that our daughter can relate to and quickly understand; and 3. Clearly identified areas for improvement and actions to take to help ensure progress. After one session with Lily and you can tell that she enjoys what she does and wants to excel at any craft she chooses. This is the sort of influence and standard we want our daughter exposed to. She is also very organized and accommodating.

A Tutor who Really Cares!

Lily uses her educational expertise to give my daughter practical tools with which to seek out specific help. She created a Google classroom page on which my daughter can post areas of challenge as they arise. This enables Lily to be fully prepared for the next lesson and customize it for my daughter’s needs. It’s a great system and we so appreciate Lily going above and beyond between lessons to prepare the right materials ahead of time for an effective and efficient lesson. My daughter also really loves her—she has a wonderful, nurturing demeanor. Grades have improved so much thanks so Lily!

Passionate Tutor

I was a bit nervous about using a tutor through [online platform] for SAT prep for my 2nd child, Sophie. With my oldest, we went through an agency. But after getting Sophie’s SAT results last week, I now know I made the right choice. She scored a 1440. Lily was able to help raise her score by over a 100 points. We were thrilled! As a tutor, Lily is very passionate. She was able to identify Sophie’s weaknesses both in Math and English and help her master them. Sophie finds her relatable and easy to talk to. Lily was able to manage my concerns and my daughters. I am really happy that I found her and would definitely recommend her to others. An Adult Learner with No Formal Education

I want to start by saying Lily is a genius; if you are hesitant to hire her or worried about the risk of the hourly rate, read the rest of my review. My circumstance is interesting. I’m 23 years old with no prior formal education in my whole life. I have been medically diagnosed with ADHD. I started working with Lily because I plan to pass the GED exam and attend university. Before working with Lily, I had a 3rd-grade education. In just three lessons, she was able to advance my brain into pre-algebra. She broke things down, simplified them for me, and taught me how to use specific math methods to my advantage without complicating anything. THE Fascinating part of Lily's teaching is that she doesn’t just teach you the technique; she makes sure you understand the learning. By tailoring and observing your learning style, the examples she gives make me have the “aha moments. “I have sudden insight and understanding of any math problem; she provides me with the samples and methods she taught me, and I would be able to solve the math problems. Not only is she good at teaching. Her personality, beliefs, and motivation make me look forward to each lesson with her. If you're serious about your or your Child's education, look no further. If every teacher had Lily's teaching style and compassion, there wouldn't be an education problem in America. I'm going to work with Lily throughout my educational process because she is capable of doing the supernatural.
